The Law curve preview window displays a projected shape of the law curve in the view. It has count points that can be manipulated to quickly change the shape of the curve. Holding a point and dragging it up or down apply new values to the independent variable.

A law curve is a very versatile controller. A simple application of three law curves is shown below, where each law curve controls the profile of three separate B-spline curves in a new origin coordinate system. These curves are then lofted with a BSplineSurface. With this set up, the exact profile of each curve can be carefully set within the law curve without navigating around the model.
